Although this project is focused on using the Internet in small businesses, there is much more to all small businesses than just the Internet. Internet marketing must be integrated into an overall marketing plan. Online scheduling is part of an overall personnel plan. E-commerce interacts with store sales, product manufacturing or ordering, warehousing, shipping and other business topics. There are a number of small business resources which can assist will many aspects of creating or modifying a small business.

The Vermont Small Business Development Center offers a wide range of services for start-up and existing small businesses, including one-on-one counseling and training courses. VtSBDC’s education offerings include classroom seminars, such as:
