Contest Eligibility Requirements
Education provided by Internet Biz – 2010 is open to all Northeast Kingdom residents and businesses, as space permits. Registration for the Internet Biz – 2010 program is required as well as Education Registration for each training session to be attended.
To be an eligible participant in the contest for cash and services prizes:
- Contestants must have access to the Internet and email.
- Individuals planning to start a new business must reside within Caledonia, Essex or Orleans Counties in Vermont
- Any current or proposed business must be physically located within Caledonia, Essex or Orleans Counties in Vermont and be majority owned by US citizens.
- The business must be for-profit.
- Existing businesses must have fewer than 50 employees and less than $1 million annual gross revenue (less cost of goods).
Descriptive Summaries submitted after the deadline may not be considered. Final Plans submitted after the deadline will not be considered. Submissions that do not meet the minimum set of requirements as specified in the relevant rules will be returned as ineligible along with an email explaining the determination.In cases where we have minor questions about an item, we may request clarification.
